News Release: Production of printed communication material

The University of Crete - Natural History Museum of Crete (NHMC) in the context of the project "LIFE Natura2000Value Crete", produced five banners which designate the main messages of the project. Two of them have general information on the NATURA 2000 sites in Crete and their ecosystem services. The rest of them will inform residents and those who do business in the protected areas, of the ecological, social and economic value of rural, mountain and coastal ecosystems in them.  

The banners will be presented during workshops, local festivals, open events for the information of the public on environmental issues, the travelling photo exhibition and training seminars which are to be held during the next two years of the implementation of the project. Until the end of this year, three booklets will be produced, in printed and digital form, concerning the provision of ecosystem services of rural, mountain and coastal ecosystems of Crete.
